Jack's camp is smack in the heart of the desert, with five 1940 tents rising above iron beds with chambray sheets ready to receive your urban ass :) Add mosquito nets, silver tea services.The camp is 50 minutes away by air charter from Maun, contact the camp's office in Francistown at 267/241-2277. Best time to go there is after the rainy season, when the water and grass attract flamingos, the desert being the last open migration route in Africa. Lions, zebras and hyenas rush here too, and there's a Bushmen to guide you for a safari.
